Summer Rain
Why is it we forget how to play in the rain as we grow older? Is it the "putting away of childish ways"? Kayden enjoyed splashing in puddles and catching raindrops on her tongue so much that I began to remember when I did the same. I would wade through the "river" running across my back yard, sing "Singin' In The Rain" at the top of my lungs while dancing down the sidewalk, and participate in puddle-jumping contests with my cousins to see who could achieve the biggest splash.
